And the Award for Best Actress Goes to...An OUTSTANDING Heathen!

Before I discuss the title of my blog, I just want to share with you that there hasn't been any changes to my credit score since my last update. The new servicer for my mortgage loan should start reporting for December so hopefully I'll have something new to report in the next few weeks. Everything else is about the same and I'm still waiting for city approvals for my architectural plans to start my renovation. That being said I want to talk about the plethora of false information and lies being told. No- not by the political leaders seeking to retain power or push some political agenda, but I'm talking about the false information coming by way of self professed ( false) prophets in the church who supposedly get their messages from God. You know- the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob- the Alpha and the Omega- the omnipotent creator of the universe and the great I AM. The Almighty. One of these fakers was the object of a sermon my pastor gave dissecting the antics- and lets be clear, they are antics -that the evangelical sect like Paula White and Kenneth Copeland were demonstrating by telling their "followers" and other supposed Christians about what the Lord had told them about the soon to be ex-President winning the 2020 election. I'm sure that most of us by now have seen the instagram videos mocking the angels coming from Africa? and South America? and everywhere else from around the world EXCEPT, interestingly enough, Heaven ...to usher back in God's chosen one to the Presidency. But in all seriousness, as Christians that proclaim to get their direction from the scriptures- the Bible- the Holy words of God. Don't you have to now at least question the message and the messenger?? The Bible says let God be true and every (wo)man a liar (Romans 3:4) So if Joe Biden has been declared the winner according to all the votes counted, several states having already certified him as the winner, and even some Republicans with a scintilla of reality and patriotism for that matter (since our system of American democracy is based on our free and fair elections as the ultimate example of how democracy is supposed to work for the rest of the world) then from who were these evangelical church folk getting their information? The Bible I read tells us that all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Tim 3:16, Romans 15:4) So if you aren't sure what to think about Paula White getting it totally and thoroughly wrong, the Bible says this: And if thou shall say in thine heart. How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if that thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing that the Lord has NOT spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously... (Deut 18:2).The Word goes on to say in Lamentations 3:37 Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not. I'll tell you who (words borrowed from my pastor's sermon ) an outstanding heathen like Paula White -that's who. Not only does scripture call out these many false prophets and charlatans, the Lord tells us that: I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies (Jeremiah 23:32) Again I ask, if its not the God of the Bible, whom these people profess to represent, that they claim told them what they're telling you ... Who is it then? The Word also tells us that it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to lie. But we certainly know who it is possible for. Satan, the devil - that old serpent ...who is a liar and the father of lies. My suggestion to all of the confused and misled followers of these fakers and con artists is to start actually reading the Bible for yourselves and start asking questions that are actually based in biblical truth- that are based on what the Lord says in His Word. To be clear...somebody is lying. And we know it ain't God! And in God's word its crystal clear when it comes to words like SHALL, not the 'shall' of the current administration that has now been redefined to mean -maybe- possibly or possibly not. No. God makes it plain. For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak will come to pass (Ezekiel 12:25). Amen. Until next week...
