Not a whole lot to report this week. Now my team is just getting everything we need in order to submit a new contract to the seller under the new partnership to acquire my investment property. Speaking of order though, I wanted to just talk about the lack of order and leadership in this country- so much so that even if you just landed here from planet CraCra, you still would be scratching your head in disbelief! But I have to tell you that in spite of the chaos around me, there's order and peace in my world that passes all understanding. It's the kind of peace, I believe, people who don't have Christ in their lives, is almost impossible to comprehend. I was listening to a sermon that my pastor gave recently and he was talking about God's order and His way of doing things that is all but non existent when it comes to how most of us move in this life. I think its because we don't physically see God every day and our spiritual antenna needs adjusting, so we tend to put His commandments on the back burner and do everything the world order tells us is fine- without fear of consequences or repercussions. It's almost becoming normal, dare I say, natural to NOT have a real problem with the unfettered, free for all- unrighteous, wickedness that has been allowed to go unchecked in our world system and most notably for Americans- starting at the highest office in the land; not realizing or acknowledging or simply not paying attention to the judgment day that is coming for all of us. And, let me say it again, it really doesn't matter whether you believe there's a judgment day coming or not, the people during Noah's day didn't believe it either. Until the water wiped out everything on the face of the earth. Trust and believe people, man's belief will never or has never changed God's word. Luke 17:27 says: " People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. They didn't believe God either. His word also guarantees us that: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad" (2 Cor 5:10) So even though this world system's order is ruled by Satan we still must hold ourselves accountable for the things we do in our own lives. I don't know about you but I want to follow the ultimate leader. Our creator- the Most High- who doesn't change with every twist and turn, who isn't moved by what's in or what's popular or which way the wind is blowing. I don't want a leader who totally and completely abdicates their leadership responsibilities- from the senators in Congress to the generals that command the supposed greatest military on the face of the planet-because they don't want to loose their job or their senate seat by doing something so ridiculous as speaking the truth. Is it just me? I'm not impressed by our leaders who witness- up close and personal- the shenanigans of the Trump White House and refuse to call bull.... bull....! I don't have ANY respect for any so called LEADER that smells the smoke, sees the flames but only calls the fire department after the building has burned to the ground. This is not leadership- on any level. A leader doesn't always do what's expedient but he always does what's necessary - what's in the best interest of the people he's supposed to represent- and what's just plain right. You see, a Colin Kaepernick is a leader. He said and did what was right because he deemed it needed to be done and he felt he had a responsibility to use his platform to do so. And it cost him his career. Don't tell me you're a general and in a book you wrote after leaving the White House that you heard for yourself the commander in chief do exactly what he was accused of during the impeachment process and even what Mueller told the world he did with Russia, etc. and a plethora of deplorable and egregious things during your tenure but you chose to remain silent when you could have said something that could have really made a difference... something ...when you could have possibly saved lives! You get no brownie points from me. What I do know for sure is that you can walk around in this life thinking you can do anything to anybody and there isn't a price to pay because you believe that somehow rules and laws are for everyone else but you, but you'd be sadly mistaken. God sees all and knows all and there is not one that will get away with unrighteousness and wickedness when its all said and done. That's the peace I'm talking about. God is an equal opportunity Divine judge and not a respecter of persons, so the great and the small, rich and the poor, the black and the white will have to answer for their deeds according to His laws. That's why I try to live a life worthy of His calling...not always perfect, certainly no where near perfect...but when I know I've messed up, I fess up and ask God to forgive me and help me have a righteous mind, as it says in Philipp
ians 2:5: "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus." A life exemplifying humility, submission, obedience and love. Putting others above yourself and understanding that God is a god of order. And ultimately its what He says about His creation that matters in the end. Until next week, be blessed.
