Some years ago my ex-boss called me late one night and told me that God told him to tell me that I was going to impact millions one day and "I hope that you're ready." I'll never forget the phone call or the emotions that came over me when I heard the prophetic message and the confirmation I got of what he was telling me when during the revelation my boss began speaking in tongues- a gift of the Holy Spirit- a gift he had revealed to me in a previous conversation that he hadn't used in a long time because of some issues he he had with the Lord regarding some things that transpired in his life. He actually wasn't the only man of God that prophesied about God's purposes and my future but there have been many things after that call whereby I knew that God Almighty was dealing with me- eventually leading me to write my book "Chasing Fool's Gold, God's Favor Through the Fog." Everything has a time and a season and I believe that this is truly my season for God's purposes to manifest. As I said in my previous blog, the spiritual attacks leveled at me just confirm that God has some great plan in His intentional will because as I heard a pastor say: Spiritual battles are always a prerequisite to spiritual purpose. God wants to know that the spiritual foundation that we profess will not be cast to the side once the natural shows up! Hallelujah! The Bible tells us that a thousand years are like a day to the Lord and how He works to accomplish His purposes are not predicated on our concept of time. My pastor said God gave him a vision and called him to be a preacher when he was only 6 yrs old. I can't recount any visions as early as that, but the Lord has given me now what I call "tunnel vision." So as I'm approaching my 60th birthday I believe that my latter days shall be greater than my former days and I am in eager anticipation of how the Lord will use me to be a blessing to His people. When my daughter called me and asked me about what was going on after she read the last blog, she wanted to know if she could call my family member and get some 'straightening' if you will -but I assured her that that would be doing exactly what the enemy wants done: create an atmosphere of hostility, confusion, anger, wrath, revenge, get back etc. and I for one don't want to give the "devil a place" (Ephesians 4:27). How can God trust me in spiritual battles when spiritual warfare arises, if I revert to my carnal nature and "do what comes natural." Nope, not me. I ain't going there. What He did do, however, is put on my heart to go to some Christian girlfriends of mine, other seasoned women, and start another real estate and property company, we are calling Real Estate Design Developers, LLC! Yes. This is my declaration; like Mordecai asked Esther, his cousin, to go before the king when Haman intended to destroy her people, the Jews, "...who knows that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place. So I say again as I've said before: Father, use me. Everything we do in this life involves a choice. And I choose to do the will of my Father. He never promised that it would be easy but He does promise that He will never leave us or forsake us. The scriptures simply sum it up like this in Joshua 24:15 "And if it seems evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose ye this day whom you will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
