Heavens to Murgatroyd!

Good relationships. We all know how important they are in this business but I wanted to share my testimony about a special relationship that has impacted me in a way I would not have imagined. I met this young man named Sean, at my current place of employment almost 3 years ago and there was just a chemistry from the very beginning. He's a Christian, like myself, and we would just talk about all the things that the Lord has done in both our lives and that alone made him "family" to me. He expressed his desire to leave his job and do his own thing as a futures trader in the stock market and we talked almost daily about how he was perfecting his strategy and working it every day until one day he told me he heard the Lord tell him to leave his job and start pursuing his dreams. I can't remember his exact words, but I remember telling him that if he did hear the voice of the Lord he had to do what he was told to do. He reminded me the other day when we were talking, that what I said to him was confirmation that led to his decision- although still somewhat scared about the magnitude of that decision- being a husband and father of a young child, but he decided to take action, trust in God and that's just what he did. I remember telling him my own dreams of doing the exact same thing to pursue my real estate goals of creating a legacy for my children and family and we both expressed to each other that some day, we would do business together. We hugged each other the day he followed through on that decision and walked out the door. This is a wonderful young man, probably not much older than my son, that not only was studying and perfecting his craft, but was willing to bring others along with him - teaching co-workers and giving them the benefit of what he learned so that maybe one day they could do the same. I told him that I wanted him to teach my son what he had learned in futures trading and several months after he left our job, I signed him up. Fast forward a few weeks ago when my son called me and told me that my friend Sean, wanted to let me know that he was ready to fund my real estate deals! When I called him and we started talking about what I was doing and how he could help, I told him all about @Tyler_ Deveraux and the Multifamily Mindset mentorship program to which he responded "I know Tyler!" I declare you just can't make this stuff up. I could go on and on but the point is - I made a connection with a person not knowing that this one relationship would come back full circle and have an impact on my son, myself and our shared vision as to what God calls for us to do in his life. Yessss, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (Luke 6:38) I got excited and immediately submitted a multifamily deal to him and he gave me an approval for 75% funding on the

deal with the stipulation that I needed a guarantor. Goodness, gracious I hadn't even secured the money I needed for the deal yet but he was already getting me approved. Heavens to Murgatroyd, I have a personal friend whose a lender- determined to fund my first deal! I thank God for His favor- favor with Him and favor with man. Stay tuned family. I will be putting my friend Sean on the map for all the multifamily mindset group to have access to and I hope that I will be as big a blessing to him as he has already been to me!
