There has been so much going on since I last wrote in this blog I almost don't know where to begin. I haven't closed on the house I'm buying yet- last minute hiccups -oil tank sweeps and now COVID-19! And while people are fighting over toilet paper and out buying guns- my aunt, the wife of my last uncle that just passed in January, passed away a month after he did. After 73 years of marriage I really couldn't feel too sad because I truly believe she was ready to go. Their passing, however, ended up with me being given an opportunity to purchase another home just minutes away from the house I'm about to close on. It's just another example of how my God is always working...even when you can't understand or see what it is He's doing. Trust and believe, I will be moving forward on both these opportunities to the glory of God in spite of the shutdowns, limited air travel and the devil still doing what he does in the world, in our houses, and most DEFINITELY in the White House! I'll end this for now with some scriptures that always bring life into perspective for me in times like these: No weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), He has not given me a spirit of fear but of power, of love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7)...Those who are with us are more than those who are with them (2 Kings 6:16) and heaven and earth WILL pass away but my words will never pass away (Matthew 24:35). I say to all believers: TRUST GOD, look to His word and when all the craziness is going on around you..........
