Liar Liar Pants on Fire!

Its been a busy couple of weeks for me but I do have some good news. I tested negative for the coronavirus, praise the Lord. I had the test done in one of those drive up locations on Friday, March 27 and was told it would take 5 to 10 days to get back the results but I could call after a week if I hadn't heard anything. Well I hadn't heard anything so I called on April 3 and was directed to the Sonoma Quest website where the results were posted. I guess if I had of contracted the virus and the symptoms had gotten more severe I would have had to go the the emergency room. I'm thankful that wasn't the case, but the alternate universe rhetoric "everything's just fine and dandy" and "anyone who wants a test can get one" foolishness is not helping this situation and we have to keep the pressure on our leaders for truth and putting people's lives over politics and ego; and we all have to do our part to make sure we're not making things worse in an already untenable situation. I know I haven't updated you about my credit recently but I just checked Experian today and the trade line that I had purchased 2 months ago was closed and sent my 702 credit score down to 675. A substantial drop, in my opinion, but I still don't regret the purchase because it allowed me to get approved for an amount that I probably would not have been approved for with out it and I also believe the drop was exacerbated as a result of the 25% utilization on my primary credit cards but I'll test that theory by the 21st of April when I pay it down to around 10% utilization. What I realize is that purchasing a trade line is very advantageous when you're trying to accomplish an immediate goal- whether its to buy a big ticket item like a car, or maybe apply for a mortgage loan and you need the lowest possible interest rates- or you need to establish a credit card with limits in the thousands as opposed to the $300 or $500 limits you only qualify for when you have bad credit. Another thing I did was send dispute letters (handwritten)to all the credit bureaus again for the 1 late payment that is still showing on my reports. This is an ideal time to dispute any and all errors on your report because of the 30 days that the law mandates that the bureaus have to verify the accuracy of your creditors information or it has to be removed. And another thing...be careful with this deferment 'assistance' that banks are supposedly granting homeowners. When I asked my lender about the terms I was told I had a 60 day "deferment" that would need to be paid along with the next loan payment due in month three. Which is simply just another Jedi mind trick. Does that make any sense? If I had trouble paying $2000 in April, what's the likelihood that I would be able to pay $6000 two months later?! We're getting a one time $1200 payment not $12,000! I hate BS...In this era of constant deception, half truths and outright lying to the people- the actual truth needs to be put in writing more than ever before. So if you're looking to go that route be sure you understand what your terms are and have those terms in black in white. God bless.
